Theodore H. Miller was born in Garwood, N.J. in 1919 and enlisted in the Army at Newark, N.J. in 1942. At the time of enlistment he was unmarried and working as a manager. Miller joined the 10th Mountain Division at Camp Hale, Colo. where he was assigned to Company I of the 87th Mountain Infantry Regiment.
